Are you a PhD candidate researching learning, instruction, or education? Are you eager to enhance your research and presentation skills and to connect with peers from around Europe? Would you like to gain insights into the projects of other international researchers and share ideas?
ICO is delighted to invite you to the ICO Open Graduate Spring School (OGSS 2025)! This event combines the best aspects of a conference and a research retreat, offering an enriching experience for PhD candidates worldwide who are engaged in research within educational sciences.
The ICO OGSS 2025 is designed with two main goals in mind. First, to foster learning: from inspirational keynote speakers, from engaging workshops led by field experts, and through presenting and discussing your own PhD research in small, focused groups. You’ll have the chance to receive and give constructive feedback, enhancing your insights and skills.
The second goal is to network: OGSS 2025 is a valuable opportunity to build connections within an international scientific community. This event welcomes PhD candidates at all stages of their research journey, providing a unique platform for academic exchange and collaboration.
What can you expect?
To fully immerse yourself in the OGSS 2025 experience, we encourage all attendees to stay on-site at the venue, where accommodation is provided. This setup is designed to maximize your time with fellow researchers in a dynamic, collaborative environment. If you have specific accommodation or dietary needs, please indicate them on your registration form, or feel free to contact us directly.
