The ICO OGSS Programme is taking shape
The programme for the upcoming ICO OGSS is starting to take shape, and we’re happy to share some exciting updates with you. In the upcoming period, we’ll be revealing the full line-up of workshops, giving participants the opportunity to choose the sessions that best suit their interests and needs.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce two inspiring keynote speakers who will be sharing their expertise with us: Anne de la Croix on Uncertainties (no statistical certainty as support) that qualitative researchers may encounter, and David Gijbels on publishing. Their presentations are likely to be a notable part of the event.

Before completing your registration for the ICO Open Graduate Spring School (OGSS 2025), please review the details on:
This information will help you complete the registration form accurately. Registration is open until 14 February 2025.
In addition to registering, you will need to submit your abstract and paper using the submission form for abstracts and papers, due by 14 February 2025. You don’t need to submit these documents at the same time as your registration; as long as they are received before 14 February, your submission will be accepted. In the beginning of February, we will confirm the title, presentation type, and workshop choice you provided to ensure accuracy.
Accommodation
OGSS 2025 offers on-site accommodation, encouraging participants to fully immerse themselves in a collaborative environment with fellow researchers. Room sharing will be arranged with PhD candidates of the same gender or, if preferred, with a participant of your choice. By registering, you automatically reserve a room for the duration of the event. If you have specific needs regarding room arrangements, shared facilities, or dietary requirements, please indicate these on your registration form or contact us in advance. In exceptional cases, single rooms may be available; please contact us beforehand to discuss options and availability.
